Wedding Torture

Diwali Vacation was more of a torture for me. It was easier for me to convince my parents to delay my marriage than neighbours, relatives and family friends. Everyone was having some story to convince for getting married. Some repetitive phrases used very often in those conversations..:
  • "There is a right age to do everything. Its already a bit late for you to get married."
  • "If you delay your marriage, your family will start late. Your kids wont settle before your retirement". (So I should start worrying about my non-existing kid from now onwards)
  • "See my son is also getting married. He is also of your age." (CONGRATS!!! BUT What does that have to do with my wedding)

So now I have decided I am not going back home till I think I should get married..

Anyways, back here in bangalore.. My friends were thinking i would come engaged after diwali.. Its easier for me to deal with them.. Now my reply to their questions is here:

  • how many girls did you met?? Exactly 15 (I took off only for 10 days.. of which 4 days spent on travelling..)
  • Did you get engaged to anyone?? Yes, to 5 of them..
  • And just to add on that.. I am already MARRIED TWICE.... (read initial posts)

So still any girls interested in getting married to ME???? :)
